Festival du Film Scientifique de Bruxelles

The Brussels Science Film Festival is a free cultural event during which recent and sometimes exclusive scientific documentaries and films are screened for all to enjoy! It is organised by students from the Cercle des Sciences ASBL at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and has been since 2011.

Through this event, we aim to raise awareness of a wide range of scientific themes, from physics and geography to psychology and technology. The screenings take place during the day and in the evening, for both primary and secondary schools and the general public. The documentaries are also often accompanied by speakers who can provide additional explanations and answer viewers' questions. For more information, see our programme here.

The Festival is not just about this event! Throughout the year, the members of the organising team remain active in the popularisation of science, helping you to discover this universe through fun facts and much more on our social networks. Another event has now been organised for two years: an open-air screening for ULB students at the start of the academic year, called "Science in the air".

Finally, the FFSB's organising team will put in place a photography contest, with the aim of visualising science through the 8th art and make your minds dream.

Thanks to Pascal Tribel for the soundtrack of the trailer !
